Jamie Cemm

Chief Executive Officer

Jamie Cemm is the Chief Executive Officer of BAES Infrastructure. Prior to taking on this role at BAES Infrastructure, Jamie was Executive Director, Infrastructure at IFM Investors, where he developed and led IFM Global Infrastructure Fund’s energy investment platforms and was responsible for the formation of strategic partnerships with major industry players globally, including VTTI, Impala Terminals, Puma Infrastructure, and Nala Renewables.

At IFM, Jamie executed a number of landmark transactions, including the privatization of Buckeye in 2019 and several transactions related to Freeport LNG. He served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Buckeye from 2019 – 2023 and led the strategy to expand Buckeye’s business model into a diversified energy infrastructure business by investing strategically in alternative energy, helping to reinforce Buckeye’s position as a key component of the global energy chain for the long-term.

Jamie’s deep experience extends back to foundations he developed in prior careers globally with Macquarie, and commercial management roles in the construction industry focused on the delivery of mega projects throughout Australia.

He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Melbourne.

Nick Baker is a Managing Director of BAES Infrastructure, where he is responsible for originating investment opportunities, creating and managing strategic partnerships, and developing the business strategy. Nick joins BAES Infrastructure from his previous role at Buckeye, where he was Vice President, Corporate Development from 2020 – 2023 and focused on M&A and strategic partnership opportunities to grow the business. 

Prior to joining Buckeye, Nick was Senior Vice President at global investment bank Macquarie Capital, where he played an integral role in transaction sourcing, execution, and asset management across a range of midstream and energy investments. He holds a Bachelor of Finance and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Adelaide.

Nick currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Bear Head Energy.

Michael Turner is a Managing Director of BAES Infrastructure, where he is responsible for originating investment opportunities, creating and managing strategic partnerships, and developing business strategy. Michael joins BAES Infrastructure from his previous role at Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners (2018 – 2022) where he was Managing Director and focused on M&A and strategic partnership opportunities in the infrastructure space. 

Prior to Stonepeak, Michael was Senior Vice President at global investment bank Macquarie Capital, where he played an integral role in transaction sourcing, execution, and asset management across a range of infrastructure M&A and public-private partnership opportunities. He holds a Master of Finance from INSEAD, and a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.

Vladimir Gorelik

Vladimir Gorelik is a Managing Director of BAES Infrastructure, where he is responsible for originating investment opportunities, creating and managing strategic partnerships, and developing business strategy. Vladimir joins BAES Infrastructure from his previous role at Buckeye, where he was Vice President, Corporate Development from 2020 – 2023 and focused on growing and managing Buckeye’s investments in the alternative energy space.

Prior to joining Buckeye, Vladimir worked at IFM and Macquarie, where he played an integral role in transaction sourcing, execution, and asset management across a broad spectrum of energy investments, including midstream, offshore wind and solar. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Keith Glickert is an Investment Director of BAES Infrastructure, where his responsibilities include sourcing, executing and managing energy transition investment opportunities. Keith joins BAES Infrastructure from his previous role at Buckeye from 2011 – 2023, where he was most recently Vice President, Investments and Alternative Energy, focusing on alternative energy investment and development opportunities that aligned with Buckeye’s energy transition strategy of diversifying its long-term business model.

Before joining Buckeye, Keith worked in private equity at NGP Energy Capital Management and investment banking at RBC Capital Markets. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from Trinity University.

Victor Ly is an Associate Director of BAES Infrastructure, where his responsibilities include sourcing, executing and managing energy transition investment opportunities. Victor joins BAES Infrastructure from his previous role at IFM investors from 2018 – 2023, where he was most recently Vice President and focused on energy and infrastructure M&A opportunities, as well as the management of IFM’s midstream platform investment strategy.

Prior to IFM Investors, Victor worked at global investment bank Macquarie Capital, where his focus was infrastructure M&A and public-private partnership opportunities across North America. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Maria De Leon is a Senior Developer of BAES Infrastructure, where her responsibilities include program development, project origination, regulatory compliance, interconnection, execution, operations and reliability, and asset management. Maria joins BAES Infrastructure from her previous role at Buckeye, where she was Senior Manager of Renewables from 2021 – 2023 and focused on program development, regulatory compliance, and execution of Buckeye’s Organic Solar platform (now known as BAES Renewables).

Prior to joining Buckeye, Maria work at Universal Pegasus International as a Project Director overseeing the companies project execution and teams. She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University.

Jared Malicke is a Senior Developer of BAES Infrastructure, where his responsibilities include project origination, development, site acquisition, front-end engineering design, grid interconnection, power contract origination, and asset management. Jared joins BAES Infrastructure from his previous roles at Buckeye, where he was most recently Senior Developer for Buckeye’s Organic Solar platform (now known as BAES Renewables) from 2020 – 2023, and Project Manager for Domestic Pipelines and Terminals from 2018 – 2020.

Prior to joining Buckeye, Jared worked at Kinder Morgan in roles in Engineering Design, Project Management, and Operations Management for interstate natural gas pipeline facilities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University.

Gavin Caufman is a Technical Associate of BAES Infrastructure, where his responsibilities include evaluating and executing on project opportunities, conducting due diligence, and financial analysis and modelling. Gavin joins BAES Infrastructure from his previous role at Boeing from 2022-2023, where he was an Industrial Engineer supporting the technical modification of new aircraft, implementing process improvement projects, and providing technical analysis.

Prior to Boeing, Gavin worked at Bulk Material Equipment where he worked as a Process Engineering consultant and Project Manager in various dry bulk material handling industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Chuck Poklikuha

Technical Associate

Charles Poklikuha is a Technical Associate of BAES Infrastructure, where his responsibilities include evaluating and executing on project opportunities, conducting due diligence, and financial analysis and modeling. Charles joins BAES Infrastructure from his previous role at Booz Allen Hamilton and Barrios Technology supporting NASA missions from 2021 – 2023, where he was a Lead Spaceflight Systems Engineer overseeing a team of engineers to deliver process, product and decision improvements through systems modeling software, with a specific focus on the Artemis and Mars Sample Return missions.

Prior to his time at NASA, Charles worked at Schlumberger where he worked as a Senior Field Engineer and Mechanical Engineer with specializations in tubing-conveyed explosives, downhole mechanical systems and ultra-deepwater wells. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Arcadia University.

Darshi Jain

Darshi Jain is an Industry Specialist of BAES Infrastructure who is responsible for advising on technical, commercial and strategic matters across the BAES Infrastructure portfolio. Darshi joins BAES Infrastructure from his role as Project Director of Bear Head Energy, where he was responsible for leading the technical aspects of the project, including the transition from an LNG project into a producer of low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia, the Environmental Assessment process, and other engineering and feasibility considerations. Darshi will continue to be actively involved in the Bear Head project going forward.

Following a career of nearly 30 years at KBR, Darshi has significant project management experience executing complex international mega projects with multidiscipline teams, primarily in the LNG, GTL, petrochemical and oil & gas sectors. Darshi has been responsible for the delivery of the entire project lifecycle from project development, FEED and EPC to start up and operations.

Darshi’s skills include contract negotiations, safety leadership, risk management and achieving challenging cost targets, and he has key strengths and expertise in project development, project execution, JV execution, lump sum EPC projects, and change order management. His overseas experience includes projects in Australia, Canada, Japan, Qatar, Taiwan and the UK, and he holds multiple engineering degrees from State University of New York.

David Bray, Industry Specialist

David Bray

David Bray is an Industry Specialist of BAES Infrastructure who is responsible for the development of hydrogen infrastructure opportunities in North America. This range of work will include the formation of strategic and commercial relationships, technical feasibility, and commercial structuring.

David joins BAES Infrastructure following a 30+ year career at Shell, where he served as General Manager for several groups at Shell, including Strategy/Business Development, Fuels and Marketing, Global Aviation, and as a corporate officer for Shell Oil Products US. David’s career has been heavily focused on downstream, customer facing businesses specializing in differentiating offers based on the specific needs of various classes of trade, and he also served on teams that focused on the future of energy for the US market and the use of alternative fuels to help reduce the overall carbon footprint. Over the last two years, through his own company, David has worked specifically on the use of hydrogen as a transportation fuel both in the retail and commercial markets.

David also serves as a non-executive Board Member representing BAES Infrastructure’s investment in OneH2. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science from the Sorrell College of Business at Troy University.

Buckeye owns and operates a diversified global network of integrated assets providing midstream logistics solutions, primarily consisting of the transportation, storage, processing and marketing of liquid petroleum products.

In addition to its pipelines and terminal network, Buckeye invests in energy transition solutions – through BAES Infrastructure – and provides merchant services at several major facilities. Buckeye also uses its service expertise to operate and maintain third-party pipelines and terminals and to deliver engineering and construction services for its customers.
